FAQs

How long does it take to paint a miniature?

The time depends on the level of detail. A tabletop miniature usually takes me about 1 hour, while a showcase-level piece can take up to 4 hours. I'm fairly fast, and if my schedule allows, I can work in batches, completing 5-10 miniatures a day depending on their complexity.

Do you accept commissions for full armies or just single miniatures?

I accept commissions for single miniatures, units, and full armies. However, I limit full army commissions to a maximum of 3 per year to ensure quality and manageable timelines.

Can you customize the base of the miniature?

Yes, absolutely! A simple base with texture, a grass tuft, and some small rocks is included in the price. I can also create any type of setting you request, including water, ice, or lava effects. For highly detailed or specific bases, there will be a small additional fee to cover the cost of materials.

Do you create dioramas or custom sets?

Yes! Dioramas and custom sets are available and will be quoted separately based on their size, the number of miniatures, the complexity of the work, and other factors.

How does payment work?

If I need to purchase the miniatures for you, the cost must be reimbursed upfront. Payment can be made in installments during the WIP process, but the full balance must be settled before shipping. Once the final photos are approved, I’ll send a screenshot of the available courier options. After the client selects a courier, they will need to pay the remaining balance along with the shipping cost. Only after payment is received will I confirm the shipment.

Can I provide my own miniature to be painted?

Yes, you can provide your own miniatures for me to paint. If you'd prefer that I purchase the miniatures for you, the cost of the models will need to be reimbursed upfront. If you supply the miniature, it's best to send it unprimed so I can handle the priming myself for the best results.

Do you provide updates during the painting process?

Yes, absolutely! I always provide Work In Progress (WIP) updates so you can request adjustments during the process. However, if major changes like a complete color scheme overhaul are requested, an additional fee will apply.

Are the miniatures protected with a clear varnish to prevent damage?

No, I don’t apply any protective sealant because I’ve experienced issues where it can ruin the paint job by leaving a white residue. I leave it up to the client to decide if they want to apply a sealant themselves. The miniatures are carefully wrapped in tissue paper, which doesn’t damage the paint, and then securely packed with bubble wrap for shipping.

Do you offer touch-ups or restorations on already painted miniatures?

Yes, absolutely! I've worked on restoration and modification projects before, including older Warhammer pieces that needed a complete refresh. I’m happy to help bring your miniatures back to life or make any necessary adjustments.

Do you accept returns or modifications after the miniature is completed?

I do not accept returns, but I can modify a completed piece if requested. Before shipping, I always send final photos for approval, and only ship once the client confirms they are satisfied. If, after receiving the miniature, the client is unhappy, there are no refunds, but I can repaint or adjust the parts they’re dissatisfied with at an additional cost.

Can I see examples of the different painting levels?

Yes, absolutely! I can provide extra photos based on the level you're interested in. You can also find examples on the 'Miniatures' page, where you can browse through the different topics.

How much does each painting level cost?

It depends on the complexity of the piece. Prices start at a minimum of €10 and go up from there. Some very simple models, if requested at the tabletop level, can even cost as little as €5, but it really varies on a case-by-case basis.

Do you offer discounts for bulk orders?

Yes, absolutely! I offer discounts based on the number of miniatures and the painting level requested.

What are the costs and timelines for shipping?

I use express couriers with delivery times ranging from 24 to 72 hours. The cost depends on the destination country. I usually provide a screenshot with courier options, and the client can choose their preferred service. Shipping costs are always covered by the client.

What happens if the miniature gets damaged during shipping?

It’s highly unlikely for miniatures to arrive damaged because I individually wrap each piece in tissue paper to protect the paint, followed by bubble wrap for impact resistance. This method ensures the miniature stays safe and intact during transit, no matter the conditions.
